Captain Ron Bedard
Ron has been a commercial rotary pilot for 14 years working in various industries including helicopter logging, aerial spraying and air ambulance. Ron is a Certified Aircraft Accident Investigator and is currently flying as an Airline Transport Captain for a regional helicopter airline in western Canada. Ron is also a certified professional photographer and specializes in forensic photography and accident site documentation & reconstruction. Ron’s aviation experience has taken him across several continents including Africa, Asia, Central America and North America. Ron is currently a member of PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada), ISASI (International Society of Air Safety Investigators) and EPIC (Evidence Photographers International Council).

Roy Buchanan
Roy worked as a police officer for 32 years and has personally conducted over 2000 motor vehicle accident investigations. He has created over 100 forensic animations, some of which have been used in Court. Roy left the police service as a platoon supervisor and was instrumental in developing the accident reconstruction and forensic animation program. Roy has testified in several levels of court including the Supreme Court of Ontario. He is a qualified expert in Forensic Animation and Accident reconstruction for the Supreme Court of Ontario, Nunavut Superior Court, New Brunswick Court of Queens Bench, Kansas Tenth Judicial District Court and several others. Roy is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Technical Accident Investigators and Reconstructionists (CATAIR).

Gary Green
Gary served with the Victoria Police Department for 28 years retiring in 2001 as the Sergeant in charge of the Forensic Identification Section. His specialty was Forensic Photography and Crime Scene Investigation and was an integral part of one of the first agencies in Western Canada to adopt digital imaging. Gary has instructed for the Justice Institute of British Columbia since 1996 specializing in Forensic Imaging and has facilitated courses for Transport Canada, BC Ministry of Forests, SPCA, and the Yukon Territorial Government. Gary obtained a Masters Degree in Applied Communication and now specializes in Visual Communication and Multimedia to compliment investigative and presentation skills of investigators.

Dan Mills
Dan has started his Masters of Civil Engineering and has worked as an accident investigator and reconstructionist for several organizations including police agencies and also Transport Canada. Dan has had papers published concerning survivability in vehicle accidents and has testified in court. Dan’s specialty is photogrammetry (taking 3D measurements from 2D images) and accident surveys. Dan is also certified as a Photomodeler Service Firm and provides technical and training for the Photomodeler software. Dan has been a member of INCR International Network of Collision Reconstruction), Collision Data Recorder Group, and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers).
